I'm going to Joburg later this month for a show at one of my favorite hotels, The Crowne Plaza, then I'll be going on a Mediterranean cruise in June which I'm really looking forward to. Lastly, there's been talk of Las Vegas and San Francisco near the end of the year. I'm going to just try and absorb every minute that I can when I'm traveling and work on everything else whenever I get a chance. 

When I was younger, I dreamed of a career that had unpredictable working hours because I felt I worked better under pressure when things presented themselves. The reality is fantastic but difficult to get my head around completely. When you get something you've always wanted, it's almost too good to be true and it's hard to digest. I went from studying straight into a life I didn't even allow myself to fully dream off. As I grow up I find that when something happens organically, there's nothing better. But it's quick, blink and you'll miss it! I try to take the time to appreciate all the lovely things I've fallen into and throw myself into fully living in the now. I also feel extremely lucky to have so many amazing people in my life which unfortunately turns into not being able to see them all of the time! I believe in making time but I have to admit that whenever I have a minute I'm usually trying to just relax on my own with a book or series marathon. So if I have not seen you lovely friends, this is my public apology. I'm going to make an effort to be sure I get to enjoy your fabulous company. Some things, can certainly wait ;)

Photobooths are the best! These are from Puma All Hands On Deck event 2 weeks ago, it was so much fun playing with all the props. Puma always does it big! I can't wait to share the event photos from the night with you all, will get right to it after Christmas. Going to be having turkey dinner with the family, playing some board games and opening presents. The last two Christmases I ended up watching Robert Downey Jr movies at the cinema (Sherlock Holmes in Canada and then Due Date at home) so I think I might stick on Heart and Souls in the background on Sunday to keep up the weird tradition hahaha. Do you have any holiday traditions?

You know those cool things you only vaguely think about doing but you never actually do them? Those things in life that you file away on a mental bucket list? It's time to cross something off the list and do it. I recently started going to a pole dancing class with my cousin as part of our "Let's finally do the things we want to do" checklist and I was pleased to discover just how huge the pole dancing world actually is; championships, competitions, levels and qualifications with some intense gymnastic skills. It's not about entertaining some dudes in a stripclub anymore, although if that's your bag then keep on keeping on!

I do love the irreverence of female empowerment via embracing something sexy instead of shunning it. It's really been amazing, half of it is the fun tricks and endorphins but the other half is that sense of fulfilment from doing something that's completely foreign. The bruises are brutal and I've fallen on my ass but sometimes falling on your ass is just the ticket to climbing back up. So go out there today or tomorrow (no next week business) and do that thing you really want to do!

This time last week I went to the PUMA Social Club Launch and it was AMAZING. Yes, caps-worthy amazing. Puma Social Clubs all over the world are geared towards the "after hours athlete"; the creatures of the night with mean foosball skills whose victories are counted in collecting phone numbers. I love the concept.

So we get there and all the walls and pillars were designated chalking areas with little soap-holders holding different colour chalks so I was in heaven until I turned on my camera to find the battery dead. My right-hand man Michael went to get his camera leaving a guy to ask me for a table tennis match which I warned him was a terrible idea. I was whacking the ball while teetering on my high heels...it was brutal. He then suggested darts which I fared a little better at. I have to give props to PUMA, everyone received a drinking card with drink coupons and food vouchers for the boerewors and french fries outside. My kinda party. As if things couldn't get any more fun, there was a free photobooth with a prop box next to the bar. We were in love. Every event needs a photobooth!

Later in the evening they opened up the PUMA Creative Factory which showcased sneaker design from local heavyweights and featured a design table where you could play around on a touch screen cutomising your very own pair of PUMAS. The room was decked out in shoelaces, shoe moulds and various cut-off pieces which I loved, I was feeling all the fabrics and missing fashion school. A surprise performance by Jack Parow ended off the evening.
