Last month I filmed another insert for Expresso in association with Deep Heat that aired this Monday. I love working with the team and this time around I got to do some pole dancing. I really enjoy the adrenaline that comes with live appearances so I kind of wish this was live for the lulz so that South Africa could see me falling on my butt haha but they kindly edited that out. I seriously throw myself around when I do pole fitness, one time in class we were cooling down to slow-tempo music (specifically Madonna's Frozen) and I fell into the mirror with my butt...such grace. So anyway, check out the video and then see what I've been up to in the photos below. It's my favorite way to exercise because it's so fun and rewarding. I can't wait to really get back into it! Would you ever try pole fitness?
Here's the video of my D.I.Y. on Expresso this morning if you missed it. I had tons of fun, can't wait to do another!
Quick little clip to say hi since I've been MIA. Anina and I were singing and taking photos of ourselves looking like jackasses when she began recording. I have so many updates to share with you guys, soon soon soon!
Just a little fashion fun from the November Lanvin + H&M campaign, I hope all of you get spoiled these holidays. Merry Christmas!
Until I get press photos and the professional DVD, I thought I would share a recording taken of my collection at the FEDISA Graduate Collection Show 2010. It's just magical to see clothes I made walking the runway on amazing models who can really work it! I was backstage quickly arranging my models and before I knew it, the music started and they were walking onto the runway. It was surreal, I had models behind me encouraging me to watch the monitor backstage, it was nerve-wracking and exciting to see it from there, I felt like a true designer. I look at this video now and I can't even remember all the nights sewing, the patterns being cut or the interfacing that I know went into it. The final song I used was Paradise Circus (Zeds Dead Remix) by Massive Attack.
