I'm proud to see Tart shaping up nicely, they were a definite highlight this year. Playful and detailed prints, risky cut-out overlays, Michael Jackson-esque lone gloves, custom gold accessories and even straitjacket elements (listen I love those things, I have the chicest straitjacket get up I MUST wear for an outfit post) spoke of an original and imaginative collection. I left the show feeling happy and satisfied. What more does a fashion girl want?
I'm currently sorting through thousands of images from fashion week so I thought I'd share some chic backs from the collections in the meantime. Buckles at Tart, Stefania Morland's cute bows, flowing maxis from Habits and Cheryl Arthur's dreamy prints. It's all about the details baby!
Tart was light and cute featuring v necklines, bright dresses, a few fun prints and some cool velvet shorts. Models gleefully threw their clutches to the guests at the end of the show. You can view the entire collection on Facebook!

It's been a decade since designer Cari Stephenson established Tart and this year the Spring/Summer collection is entitled, "One Woman Tribe". The range is indeed very accessible and easy to wear maintaining what Tart calls their "slip on and go" philosophy. Simplicity was peppered with a little bit of drape as well as vivid electric blues and emerald greens. I adore the interlocking in-house designed print. Fringed heels, stacked bangles and slicked-back hair polished off the looks.
Tart is available to purchase from The Space.
