My name is Rebecca and It's 2033. The world is screwed now. You see, a while ago this humongous comet came crashing into the earth. Bam, total devastation! End of the world as we know it. No celebrities, no TV, no water. Blogs somehow survived, go figure. It hasn't rained in 11 years. Now 20 people gotta squeeze inside the same bathtub - so it ain't all bad.
I love that I drive you crazy baby. I want to be your tacky nightmare with fake finger tattoos. I've got my tank and camo so I'm ready to battle. Me and my ripper crew ain't got time for using a microscope and tweezers to deal with insignificants, we got bigger fish to fry. I sometimes have to scrounge to find good clothes so lemme tell you, this leather is staying stuck to my body. Anyways, I gotta split. It's been swell but swelling's gone down. Catch you in the future, bring some Dr Pepper for a girl, will ya?

Fuck Photoshop. You want a real girl, you got one. Pizza belly with messy hair 4 life, hibernating for the winter decked out in The Lot. I fell in love with a poker player who has charm in spades and I've been gambling my money on a severe nail art addiction. No intervention will stop this junkie. Cape Town is slow magic dressed in gloomy weather and city lights. I'm dreaming of nights in drinking Amarula and getting cosy in front of the heater but that'll have to wait. While bitches watch bitches, I be getting shit done. Walking my own way in my bad boots for a bigger prize than dinero. I'll be hiding in my hat before the big finale. It ain't over till this phat lady sings.

Every season, I like to find a way to work trends into my wardrobe in a way that works for my style. I see it more as fashion challenge than fashion victim. I'm not too keen on the colder months so I'd rather find a way to work spring/summer trends into my winter outfits. So, if you're wondering what to wear with your stockings and scarves or what to bring out when the sun comes back, look no further, here's what you need to know about bringing the heat.
Stripes
Stripes are huge this season and are viewed as a timeless classic by many fashionistas. An extremely versatile style that can be worn both on duty and off-duty, make sure you know how to wear this trend.
Past runway shows have revealed a jumble of mod-leaning stripes and skinny styles. This year however, designers are showcasing a thicker pattern. Stripes are the perfect holiday choice and add a hit of instant sophistication to an array of ensembles with everything from skirts, tops, dresses, trousers and shorts being transformed.
If you’re not sure about being so bold with your striped ensemble then opt for striped accessories instead. Canvas wedges and oversized totes are great options for striped patterns and won’t make the look overpowering.
Floral
Once again, floral fashion is blooming for 2013. Regardless of whether the sun is shining or not, floral prints are guaranteed to add instant warmth to your wardrobe. Abstract prints, washed out watercolours and cutesy petal designs are big this season so make the most of the variety.
Leather
Leather looks are having a moment this year, with trench coats, dresses, shorts and skirts all taking centre stage. Pastel shorts and retro leather skinnies are perfect for both day and night and will add an instant edge to your current style.
Denim
The denim-duo was big last season, with models showing off their slim figures in a number of doubled up styles. This season, the look continues to be popular, with high rise flared jeans at the forefront of fashion. Wear these with heels and a crisp white shirt for an off-duty office style or distressed rock tees and trainers for a more casual appeal.
Getting Graphic
The geometric print of the past has been revamped to reveal an assortment of bold, on-trend outfits so get graphic! Think checker-board dresses with matching headbands and silk black and white skirts for a unique look sure to inspire.
Polyvore till I die! My main PC with hours and hours of music is dead so I need to get it fixed. In the meantime I've been making playlists on 8tracks with what I can remember from my iTunes. When I was a little girl, fashion was not first - I just wanted to become a rock star. I used to look up to Shirley Manson, Gwen Stefani and Dolores O'Riordan from The Cranberries and write terrible songs on my exam pads. One of them was called "Succinylcholine", sound bad enough for you?
Wear the top as a dress and show off some leg. This is my getting ready camera. Taking pictures and not trusting mirrors. I love vintage clothing, never know who owned something before you. I haven't touched up my hair since January, time to sit in a chair for four hours and get this puppy done. If I wasn't so demanding with bleach it wouldn't take so damn long. Had such a hectic week so it's nice to sit down and chill out.
I went to see Date Night with some girls from college yesterday; Purusha, Naledi, Saadiqah, Mubeena and Demet. Have you ever heard a better batch of names? Lovely. Afterwards Demet and I went to Country Road where I got a leather covered pyramid stud wristlet/clutch in a similar vein to this Jas MB clutch. I'm in love.
"I'M NO"? I love that it's in caps, I read it like it's shouting.
A while back I got these two gems at Wardrobe but I forgot to post them, I also got a new sewing foot for my machine, damn they are expensive! What do grandmothers make these days? I love it that my mom and I share the same shoe size and taste, she's traveling now so I'm excited to see what she brings back. I told her to go to Topshop, I went to the one in New York the day before New Years but it was chaos.
My current arm candy
xx
