Thought I'd share the latest Accessorize campaign to whet your appetite for the giveaway I'm doing with them this week. Summer feels like it's finally here for us in Cape Town. I'm so excited to wear cute summer dresses, new bikinis and huge hats! These images make me want to write down a list of all the things I want to do before Summer is out, things like road trips, toasting marshmallows at night, pushing someone in the pool and hanging at the beach hearing cooler bag guys shout "Water for your daughter! Ice lolly to make you jolly!" Hope anyone who went to Rocking The Daises this weekend had an amazing time. x

Hungry yet, yo? These cake dress creations were shown at the V&A Waterfront on the day of the royal wedding as a campaign for Sasko Flour. The Cake Couture campaign involved life-size, edible designer dresses for onlookers to check out and then later dig into, keeping in line with Sasko Flour’s slogan, share the goodness.

Three dresses were designed by Marisha Eygelaar, Chota Sulleman and Nicole Hannah while chefs Alfred Henry, Wade van der Merwe and Peter Gyorgyicsek whipped up the finished product.

Thanks to Sasko and Tin Can PR for the lovely package, can't wait to bake some winter treats.

Early this year my designer friend Matthew told me I had to check out Rick Genest in the clip used for the Mugler fashion show. Now I'm obsessing over this work of art in the images of the 2011 Mugler Fall campaign, such attitude and power.

Zombie Boy is Dias de los Muertos come to life in a less sugar skull kind of way and right now I'm imagining him in something steampunk inspired, he'd be able to pull it off without any cheesy appeal...dios mio, I'd pay to see such perfection. You could put this guy in anything and he would make it sing with sophistication.
