Foschini Fashion Design Awards 2014

It's been a while since I've gone to an event as I've been focusing on other work but last week I did attend the Foschini Design Awards as I'm always excited to see what young designers are up to, as well as to support FEDISA and their students. This year the competing ranges were inspired by the theme, 'Bauhaus to Boho' and we got to check out the top 6 capsule collections. Zandalee Broodryk from Cape Town College of Fashion Design won third place, second went to Emily Hellens of FEDISA and first place was awarded to Frances Pauls who's also from CTCFD.
The winners will have their collections sold at Foschini flagship stores and they also get an internship at TFG Design, a R5000 Foschini gift card, a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, MTN airtime and an industrial sewing machine sponsored by CTFC.
