Spilt Milk made garments to echo twelve characters from the big top, sent the models down the ramp to Christina Aguilera's Enter The Circus and entertained the guests. Alma van den Berg presented a whimsical, conceptual, edited collection. Circus fun in red, black and white colour ways; I suspect my Alma Mater (excuse the pun Alma), FEDISA would approve. I love it when designers use unconventional materials like rope and balloon because it brings something fresh to the runway. With ruffs, ruffles, stripes and The Little Hattery's millinery offerings, we certainly saw a show. Thanks Alma!
I'm currently sorting through thousands of images from fashion week so I thought I'd share some chic backs from the collections in the meantime. Buckles at Tart, Stefania Morland's cute bows, flowing maxis from Habits and Cheryl Arthur's dreamy prints. It's all about the details baby!
