L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Media Launch

I'm already excited for the annual L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate taking place at Kenilworth Racecourse in January. Last week, a few of us went to the cocktail party announcing the event and got a little taste of what to expect. Guests donned the traditional blue and white colours while enjoying delicious treats and yummy drinks amidst the luxe decor. We chatted and cheersed while a beautiful white stallion trotted about in the background and a guitarist played to the crowd. Quite an evening. I had a blast and this was only a preview so best believe I'll be there next year with bells on and an eccentric hat to match. Are you up for one of Cape Town's most glamourous events? The 153rd L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate takes place on Saturday the 11th of January 2014 at Kenilworth Racecourse. The dress code is smart in strictly blue and white. Tickets are R250 for the Style Lounge, R600 for the picnic area and R1200 for the VIP Stud Club. Book now at Computicket.
