This year's 54th Grammy Awards collided with the recent news of Whitney Houston's passing. I've been staying up till the early hours every during awards season to check out the fashion, pity they're always on a Sunday!

I adore fashion risks so I quite enjoyed Nicki Minaj's cloak and hooplah. Jessie J looked amazing and I love Katy Perry's hair and makeup but I find the Elie Saab number a bit frumpy so I would have loved to see her in something edgier. I'm not liking Fergie's look or the Russian pop star's gaudy guns. Props to the Corinne Bailey Rae's Christian Siriano ensemble, her hair complemented the dress' structure very well. The red carpet saw its fair share of high necklines, lace and sparkle. What are your thoughts? I always love to hear them!
