Pajama Party
10/20/2010My go-to sleepwear usually consists of comfy plaid pants and band tees but in Summer, it calls for satin short shorts. If I had the patience it would be lingerie and silk robes. That is my New Years resolution: glam it up when lounging around. My mom made this top in the 80s. It's like Flashdance falling off the shoulder vibe with slashes on the sleeves. She was about to launch a line, orders from stores were all in, labels printed but then the factory went MIA and didn't deliver on time. It's time to finish what mama started. I just handed in my entire collection to be moderated. Now I have some downtime to attend some events before diving back in for fittings, accessories and music. I've got a few songs to choose from, just gotta make the right choice for the runway!
Tomorrow I'm going to Bloggers Day for TRON: Legacy, in the evening I'm swinging by the graduate performance of the Waterfront Theatre School and then next week it's the Positive Heroes fashion show. I'm excited to bring my new camcorder/camera and will be tweeting live. Designers showing include Maya Prass, Stiaan Louw, Craig Port, Gavin Rajah and many more. If you're interested I believe they are selling tickets through Computicket for R150 and the proceeds go to Positive Heroes, a charity for HIV, so get on it!
